picked up a couple backpacks to use as our hurricane evac bags. that got me interested in hiking/camping. looking at all sorts of backpacks online now, and going to try building my own. have some ideas and sketches, will post progress once i get started.
Took the day off from working out, visited family for two of my niece’s birthdays, picked up, and put together a dresser for the baby room. painting is mostly done in there, but need to do some edging and some additional fun stuff. got another dresser for our bedroom, but didn’t feel like putting it together yet (also need to find a new home for the treadmill, that’s in the bedroom now).
need to finish cleaning out the baby room now, and get the baby stuff in there–it’s all sitting out in the living room at the moment. i also have a bunch of computer networking gear in the closet of that room. since switching to wireless ac, haven’t felt a need to rewire the Ethernet.
