Meant to do a step-by-step, but it started raining and i had to rush things. Have some bracing to do underneath, need to add a spot for the monitor mount, and need to polyurethane or resin the surface (there's some gaps, so i'm leaning toward resin). Considering doing a rebel alliance logo in high gloss red over the black surface before final coats. I'm also not sue how i want to finish the back...either fill in the empty space with more black, or trim down the cherry red sections to be even with the flat spot (which would also make it slimmer for butting up against a wall). The frame under the desktop is a sit/stand desk with touchscreen controls.
I should probably add something here.
