The Queen of Blood and Thorns was a leader in the armies that fought Veaengeihvean. She is a fallen elf or dryad, but no one is completely sure who she was prior to her fall. She rules over the ruins of an elven civilization somewhere in the great deserts. Any forests remaining have been corrupted by her presence, as well as the lingering magic of Veaengeihvean. At different times she may appear as ancient and decrepit, or young and beautiful. Those in her presence can always feel the evil that has corrupted her.
Her armies include corrupted forest creatures (treants, dryads, elves, and various wild animals), as well as corrupted or reanimate humans, dwarves and other races that were involved in the God’s War. She also makes use of various animated plants and elementals.
Originally, her goal was to rid the world of evil. This was true even in the early days of her rise. Over time however, her perception of good and evil has been warped, and she now sees any that oppose her as being evil.
