Of course I watched Sunday's game, and I got to see the standing ovation as he walked off the field. It was kind of a wonderful and overwhelming moment. Even Eli looked overwhelmed. I read a whole bunch of articles about it Monday, and just about every one of them got me a little teary-eyed. He was yanked too early this year and he deserved a more fitting final season as the NY Giants starter. I hope this game wasn't the end for his career, but if it was, it was as good a way to go out as this season would allow. There's been a lot of lows during his time as the starting QB, but they are far outweighed by the high moments. I will miss seeing Eli on the field on sundays, and I'm grateful for every single up and down minute he's been there.
