The headset (1lb) has a tactical camera and a microphone. The eyepiece gives the user a +2 to skill as well as a –2 to SS due to infrared superimposition (only on targets with an infrared profile). | |||||||||||
The harness (11 lbs) holds the biometer and communicator. It is PD 3, DR 15 (areas 9-11, 17-18). It gives a +2 to cancel penalties for movement. The computer gives a +3 to skill when “smart” mode is not active. When “smart” mode is active, the computer gives a +8 to skill, however, shots after the first cause only 6d damage (plus explosive) and armor only protects against the first shot that penetrates.
